The oem intake manifold leaves alot to be desired in alot of areas, its ugly, its extremely heavy, very bulky, design based on low rpm torque and packaging requirements than all out power and looks.
-works with Merlin Machining under plenum fuel rails, polar engineering fuel rails, and all side feed injector configurations (oem, 300degree, etc)
-works with OEM ECU* (see notes)
-clears oem hood and timing covers
-oem coils need to be shortened or use an aftermarket setup such as R8, LS, R35,etc
-must use our billet valve cover set or modify your own intake covers to work.

if using DBW any generic bosch throttlebody with proper bolt pattern will work, alot of manufacturers use the 65mmx 65mm bolt pattern such as the ford part # DS7Z-9E926-D or the OEM nissan hitachi R35 GTR throttle bodies. LOJ also sells the needed DBW pedal adapter required or Polar engineering*

lower intake manifold gasket port matching HIGHLY recommened for maximum performance*
manual cars with OEM ecu can be used but the power and ground pins on the TPS need to be switched, very easy to do, depin the oem harness or tps and swap locations between the red wire with the black wire. automatic transmissions can not do this mod
intake manifold most likely will need to be removed to change spark plugs*
if using Drive by cable, setup the airflows as balanced as possible at idle, set your throttle body with the TPS on it to be the master. the master cable needs to be adjusted to move slightly before the slave throttle or you will have idle rpm changes when pressing the throttle pedal but NO change in Throttle postion sensor and can result in poor low rpm performance. *
no idle air control provisions provided, we just set throtttle stops to desired idle. any kind of aftermarket controller could be added to the 12AN balance tube or modified oem setup, we will leave this up to the consumer, a solution may be added later if enough demand for one arises.*
installation of this kit assumes all deletes have already been completed, more deleting relocating of wiring and hoses or other modifications may be required. *
any generic silicone 90 degree reducer adapter (2.75" down to 2.5") can be used to adapt to 2.5" intercooler charge piping.*
